Job Description


As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, fabricate, modify and evaluate manufacturing systems and processes. The successful candidate will support engineering functions for production assembly line and fabrication areas in a fast paced production environment.

You will also be trusted to:

  • Collaborate and connect with other engineering disciplines, maintenance, Tool & Die, facilities, and safety personnel to complete product, process and safety improvement projects.

  • Responsible for the application of basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations.

  • Conducts analysis or tests pertaining to the development of new methods, materials, processes or stands and provides recommendations accordingly.

  • May prepare plans, process specifications, and procedures; production aides and assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, factory cost work standards, cost reduction and assignments of similar complexity.

  • Knowledge/ experience with brazing and/or welding a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Industrial, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology preferred

  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology

  • Experience with analytical and CAD software

  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

  • Knowledge of work measurement, Lean manufacturing, and ergonomics

  • Possess a history of successful performance and the desire to succeed in diverse and challenging roles

  • Advanced interpersonal skills, both written and verbal to ensure commitment to implementation of new methods or processes

  • Bi-lingual Spanish capabilities are a plus
