Job Description


As a key technical expert, the person in this position leads financial planning and analysis activities and special projects. The lead also interfaces with top management, responding to their requests for financial data and to resolve reporting and compliance issues.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining forecasts for the Supply Chain with annual spend of $200M (including annual planning).

  • As main contact for the VP of Distribution, this position is visible to senior leadership and suited for continued growth in FP&A.

  • Provides support to business operations and acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights that support ‘optimal’ business decision making.

  • Subject Matter Expert on all things Supply Chain Logistics – works cross functionally with Distribution, Freight, and Supply Chain to achieve accurate forecasting and interpret financial results.

  • Initiates process improvements and oversees the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operational support, and complex modeling tools.

  • Operates autonomously as a financial subject matter expert within the firm and collaborates cross-functionally with all departments.

  • Prepares, publishes, and presents critical financial reporting to all levels of business leadership.

  • Supports the financial period close process and cadence through reporting, accounting entries, and variance analysis.

  • Displays high motivation and eagerness to learn, drive high quality results, and create value added impacts to the business.




Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel and Access skills. Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion). Advanced aptitude in problem solving. Strong leadership skills and initiative. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
