Job Description

Directs the overall IT testing strategy. Leads a team in the implementation of a software quality assurance program in support of highly complex software applications.

Identifies and implements a common set of tools for conducting and executing computer systems testing that will reduce the total cost of compliance, while protecting the assets of the company. Continue to optimize current test execution, test automation, regression and e2e test efforts for the project supported by team Focuses on mentoring, coaching, coordination and providing technical leadership. Reviews the work of employees and provides expertise in planning test scripts, and in identifying and documenting all quality-related issues. Specifies functional and nonfunctional software requirements. Establishes quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring software quality. Establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests. Reviews and evaluates software quality assurance products and services for applicability to in-house needs.


Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.

Requires broad IT knowledge as well as advanced expertise with software test standards and a wide variety of methods. Requires knowledge of a wide range of programming and scripting languages. Must be able to evaluate user requirements relative to current system functionality. Requires clear written and verbal communication in a technical context. Must be able to lead teams.

  • At least 3 years as a QA manager with a proven record of accomplishment of delivery, strong strategic vision, and ability to inspire/mentor QA teams, team/performance management and delivering quality results

  • Expertise in problem-solving, risk management and tracking defects using test management tools such as HP Quality Center or Microsoft Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS or TFS)

  • Experience leading and coordinating combinations of both onsite and offshore QA teams

  • Experience in leading QA teams on projects employing ALM templates with both CMMI and Agile SCRUM and/or KANBAN methodologies

  • Hands on expertise and experience with test automation tools, preferred tools are Selenium, JMeter, Loadrunner, Worksoft Certify, etc.

  • Prefer functional experience leading QA teams with SAP, Web, eCommerce, Digital, and mobility technology stacks

  • Experience performing vendor management for QA contractor resources and services as needed for projects and initiatives
