Job Description

Human Resources Support

The Human Resources Support performs the administrative support and coordination activities associated with the preparation, delivery, record keeping and support of recruiting, benefits, training, employee communications, and safety and employment documentation. Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures. May serve as a liaison with internal departments/divisions and/or outside organizations.

Under direct supervision, seeking to hire a highly motivated, independent, detailed and action-oriented individual to fill the Human Resources Support position. Primary duties include managing the HR processes and procedures for hourly and salaried employees such as the recruiting and onboarding process, general administrative duties, assist with training, lead employee engagement activities and recognition programs as well as FMLA and Disability administration. This role serves as the liaison to the LII Corp offices on associated programs.

In addition to the support role on these projects, this role will also serve as the team coordinator preparing for weekly team meetings, coordinating communication, and managing initiatives from the team manager related to entire team. The HR Support reports to the Sr. HR Business Unit Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads onboarding of candidates such as pre-employment checks as well as new hire activities such as orientation, new hire documents, creating badges, and new hire assimilation activities

  • Coordinate annual enrollment including distributing internal communication materials regarding benefits and duties associated with benefits administration

  • Codes, compiles, and files HR related correspondences, records, documents and reports

  • Consults with management regarding interpretation and administration of human resource policies, programs, procedures and compliance with applicable state/federal statutes and regulations

  • Manage the switchboard phone and to route incoming calls and relay messages as appropriate



  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources preferred

  • Requires at least 2 years of related Human Resources experience

  • Experience with HR systems preferred; this role utilizes Kronos, SAP, and iCIMS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
